If you’re going to be at BEA this week make sure you check out the Penguin Truck, which will be conveniently located in the Crystal Palace area of the Javits Center (before you enter the main exhibit floor). And click through to check out a map of where the truck will be going through the summer (more locations to come).
The Penguin Pushcart is going to be making a few stops this summer as well, including one rather Shakespearean stop in NYC (hint hint).

Speaking at BEA’s Children’s Book & Author Breakfast!

theartofnotwriting:

I am here to meet authors. I am eager to hear more about the flourishing young adult market. I expect and hope to come across some lovely books that can be signed by the author. In many unexpected ways, meeting and getting to know an author has been a very useful tool for me as a bookseller. It adds a personal touch to hand selling that I find customers appreciate. — Kerri Poore, a bookseller with Washington D.C.’s Politics & Prose, in a guest blog with YA Highway about preparing for her first trip to Book Expo America, starting this week.

Pssst!

This is a secret pre-announcement that you are invited to Tumblr’s party at Book Expo America. 6/6 at 7pm at Housing Works Bookstore Cafe with free drinks and three writers I adore. You’re excited! Trust.
